I. Introduction
A. Definition and Scope of the Specialty
The surgical specialty of orthopedic surgery
(Ophthalmological,Ophthalmologic,

includes the study
and prevention of musculoskeletal diseases, disorders, and
injuries and their treatment by medical, surgical,
(orthopaedics

physical methods.
B. Duration of Education
